How to get the best results with your laundry using CLEANZ

CLEANZ Laundry Liquid is gentle and effective in standard laundry applications.  

As we do not use harsh chemical ingredients that you find in other laundry detergents and powders, our laundry liquid works best when used in conjunction with CLEANZ Oxy Soak.  As per the instructions below, for whitening and brightening simply add Oxy Soak to your wash, or for tougher loads, pre-treat stains by pre-soaking or spot treating the areas.

These extra steps enable you to move away from the chemical wash process and from hot or heavy duty cycles that can damage your clothes.  CLEANZ is both gentle and safe on you - and on your clothes.

CLEANZ Laundry Liquid

Once you have diluted your laundry solution 1 part CLEANZ to 2 parts water, you only need the following amounts for an effective clean that is harsh on dirt but gentle your clothes:

Small to medium loads - 1 ½  capfuls 15ml

Medium to large loads - 2 capfuls 20ml

We know that seems like a small amount but trust us it's all you need.  If you are more comfortable with another capful, try that first!

If you like your laundry to have a scent, we recommend adding 6-7 drops of your favourite essential oil to the laundry bottle when making up the solution or add a couple of drops directly to your detergent dispenser as you go.

Top load Machines

• Add ¼ of a cup of Oxy Soak to the drum
• Place the laundry into the machine 
• Add 1 ½ - 2 capfuls ( depending on the load size) into the detergent dispenser.
• Optional - add a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil to the detergent dispenser.
• Wash as normal

Front load Machines

• Add 1/4 of a cup of Oxy Soak to the drum
• Place Laundry into the machine
• Add 1 ½ - 2 capfuls (depending on the load size) into the detergent drawer.
• Optional - add a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil to the detergent drawer
• Wash as normal

NB: Water Quality can differ from region to region - if you have hard water you may have to use 2 ½ capfuls of solution - fir softer water you will be able to use a little less.

CLEANZ Oxy Soak

We recommend using CLEANZ Oxy Soak to remove heavily soiled or stained laundry by pre-soaking the items before adding them to the washing machine.

Laundry Whitener & Brightener :

• Add ¼  of cup an average load of whites to sanitise, white and brighten

Spot stain remover:

• Sprinkle onto stain and wet with Cleanz All Purpose
• rub gently and leave for 5 mins before washing.

Pre Soaking:  

• Pretreat stains by spraying any spots with CLEANZ All-Purpose 
• Add 2 tablespoons of CLEANZ Oxy Soak to 9 litres of warm water
• Soak for at least 1 hour or overnight until the stain has lifted
  NB:  Make sure you check and follow laundry instructions on the label of all items - some fabrics are not colour fast and should not be soaked in any sort of bleach, including oxygen bleach.

Hand-Washing: 

• Separate whites from colours 
• Pretreat stains with CLEANZ All-Purpose 
• Add 1 tablespoon of CLEANZ Oxy Soak to 9 litres of water
• Soak for at least 1 hour or until the stain is lifted 
• Rinse well before drying
